Coaching for highly-aware, modern
professionals seeking clarity on their
path.
If you’re a professional feeling stuck, unsure, or unfulfilled, you’re right to seek change.
However…
If you feel that receiving a promotion, going back to school, moving across the country, starting a business, or simply quitting your job is the ultimate solution that will solve all your woes — you may be in for disappointment.
HERE’S THE PROBLEM
Changing your environment or situation without uncovering the root cause of why you’re feeling stuck or uneasy is often a temporary fix.
Imagine someone suggesting more coffee when you're suffering from exhaustion. Sure, it might be helpful in the moment, but, no, it doesn’t solve the bigger issue.
Finding solutions that truly resonate and actually deliver long-term results need to honour you as a whole person and consider your personal and social identities, your everyday life, emotions, experiences, what brings you joy, and most of all, your values.
And this requires deep inner work.
It is this deep inner work that will naturally illuminate your best path forward.
And how do you do this “deep inner work”?
By asking curious questions.
Simple yet thoughtful questions you may have never considered or prioritized in the past...
In my 10+ years as an HR leader with both work and lived experience in equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility, I have seen the negative impacts of allowing these important needs to go unaddressed.
Many folks may recognize a feeling of unhappiness with their work at one point in their career journey and begin to feel cornered. The only options that appear are to stay miserable or search for greener pastures...without identifying the missing piece.
That missing piece can be a solution that inspires you. One that truly resonates with you. And provides a new perspective to identify the changes you want to make to get around that spot of resistance, increase your confidence, and recognize the transformative power that clarity can bring towards fulfillment in your work and life.
However, I’m not suggesting you change careers, start a business, demand a promotion, or overhaul your team. I’m not suggesting anything at all.
I am here as your coach to help you do your own inner work by asking curious questions, offering a different perspective, challenging your narrative and making space to consider what it would look like if you let go of what isn't serving you. All to lead to your own enlightened solutions where you belong.
And it all starts with asking questions.
TESTIMONIAL
“I thought this would be a waste of time.”
To be honest, I didn’t expect to gain as much as I did from the coaching sessions with Jackie.
Each conversation left me feeling incredibly motivated and excited. Her guidance and insightful questions enabled me to address my long-standing issues around setting boundaries. Within just a few weeks of our chat, I was no longer scared to have the difficult conversations I had been avoiding for 20 years.
As a result, I am now consistently reinforcing my boundaries with my boss and peers. I no longer dread work and overall feel so much happier.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Why this style of coaching works
My style of coaching addresses the root of what is coming up for you, while offering space to explore alignment between your solutions, your identity and your values. My background equips me with a nuanced perspective, enabling us to co-create a safe space that meets you where you're at without judgement or attachment.
Click below to explore my approach, background, and experience.
-
My approach to coaching is focused on you, the client. My role is to coach you, rather than coaching your issue, situation or problem you're bringing to our conversation. My coaching style includes a somatic approach, recognizing the value in both mind and body, emotional and physical.
This allows us to co-create a conversation that gives you the agency to make the change you're seeking. Based on your level of readiness, we will explore your social identities that make up your lived experiences and how you view yourself within those experiences. I will invite you to identify any assumptions or judgements you may be bringing and together, we will explore what it would feel like to let those go in service of you and the destination you're seeking.

TESTIMONIAL
“Refreshingly different.”
Having previously explored life coaching, I found Jackie's approach to coaching professionals refreshingly different. Jackie asks guiding questions while calling upon previous comments I made from past sessions, which helped me paint a clearer picture of what I wanted for my career and life.
She is so gentle and truly listens without interrupting. In addition, she educates herself to better support individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, BIPOC, and neurodiverse traits.
Connecting with Jackie left me feeling empowered, supported, and encouraged. With Jackie, I never once felt judged or uncomfortable.

If you are looking for career growth, this is for you. If you are an executive or leader struggling to connect with your bosses, peers, or team members, this is for you. If you are an HR professional who values coaching for your organization, this is for you. If you are an entrepreneur looking to get around a spot of resistance, this is for you.
In a nutshell, my coaching caters to those who wish to delve deeper into themselves to discover solutions aligned with their personal values, rather than adhering to generic "best practices" that may not resonate with them. My coaching style is suited for anyone seeking to address underlying frustrations, resistance, and apprehensions about significant decisions, or those simply looking to proactively shape their path with purposeful intent.
-
My role as your coach is to provide a safe space for you to bring your whole self, to understand what you'd like to get more clarity on and guide you through that process to the destination you will identify. Together, we will co-create that journey. The "results" come from you and how committed you are to making change. As your co-pilot, I am your champion and will support you along that journey.

Mentors, often experts in their respective fields, aim to assist individuals who are newer in their career towards achieving success, achieving success by sharing their own career journey, successes they had, and areas for growth In contrast, professional coaching adheres to strict standards and ethics, where coaches refrain from providing direction and instead employ inquisitive, guiding questions from a place of curiosity, without judgment or attachment. Through focused discussions, coaches empower individuals to envision their future, concentrating on the individual's goals and aspirations. By prompting reflective thinking, coaches facilitate the discovery of personal solutions, naturally inspiring progress and growth.

As someone who identifies as neurodivergent, I have lived experience on the feelings that come from being seen as different from the typical. There are so many people who will tell you how to live, work, think, and feel – and some come with the best intentions. However, I believe that unless the solutions and answers align with who you are, they won’t resonate.
In addition to my lived experiences, I continually look to grow my own learning professional training to support my clients, including courses such as Autism and Neurodiversity in the Workplace provided by the University of British Columbia.
Lastly, I regularly write blog posts and share information on LinkedIn. From there, you will get a good sense of my low-pressure, gentle coaching style. The best way to find out if we are a good match is to hop on a no-cost discovery session. If you have anxiety around calls, you can always email me or download my services guide.

I believe in the importance of identifying ones values and using them as a guide to lead your best life with strong, clear choices. My values are belonging, authenticity and integrity, and I appreciate finding alignment through values with folks in my life, be that personally or professionally. My values show up through my commitment to coaching others from a genuine space of non-judgement, accepting who you are and your choices without assumption, and meeting you where you are at – today. My goal is to create a space where my clients feel like they belong in that process; to show up as their true self, feel safe to be vulnerable, and to bring a readiness to explore with courage. I would love to work with you if you would also like to dig into your own values in support of leading your life choices.
-
I offer coaching for professionals who are looking for clarity around whatever is showing up as resistance for them. I am not a career coach who offers resume reviews, LinkedIn suggestions, mock interviews, pay negotiation techniques or business guidance. While these could be open as topics during our sessions, that will be up to you, and if these matter to you. Our focus will be on understanding your approach and motivations, particularly if you're feeling stuck. Together, we'll explore the reasons behind any obstacles or resistance you may be encountering, and I'll invite you towards discovering your most suitable path forward through curious questioning without judgment or attachment.
For further details on my coaching approach, feel free to schedule a no-cost discovery call or access my services guide for more information.

I have volunteered my time through mentorship, networking, speaking and facilitation for the past 10 years, with a large focus on supporting those who identify as women. My foundation is the feeling of belonging each of us deserve and I continually looking to create spaces for people to explore their own definition of belonging through powerful coaching conversations and through my HR work. If you are looking for coaching combined with facilitation, speaking or other opportunities, I would love to hear more. Please download my Services Guide or reach out directly.
